The Budget Formulation section manages the acquisition of budgetary resources process for the National Weather Service.  This includes requirements identification, prioritization, selection and justification.  The section monitors the executive and congressional budget processes.  The Budget Formulation section maintains the organization’s budgetary control tables, coordinates execution year planning, and allocates fiscal resources.
