AWC's David Knapp Retires from
Air Force Reserves

In honor of the Knapp's retirement, current AWC reservists and those recently retired from the service put on their uniforms. Left to right are: NOAA Corps Officer Cmdr. Mark Moran, AWC Meteorologist Tim Mahony, AWC Admin Officer Mary Ellen Stone, AWC Electronic Technician Tom Lussen, AWC Domestic Operations Branch Chief Fred Johnson.

 


Lt. Col. Eric McKinley receives Certificate of Appreciation plaque from AWC Director Jack May. The message on the plaque: "This certifies the appreciation of the Aviation Weather Center for the professional and outstanding service provided to the AWC during planned backup exercises and unplanned backup episodes during 2002. The AWC could not ask for a better partner to ensure continuous operational production of critical advisory information to the U.S. air fleet and air traffic control operations."
