The Shreveport, LA, Weather Forecast Office honorerd Billy Joe Metteaur, cooperative weather observer in Chireno, TX, with two awards recently. In a ceremony at the Chireno Cafe, Metteaur received the John Campanius Holm Award as one of the Nation's top observers in 2004, and he also received a 30-Year Length of Service Award as a weather observer.
