ITO Tony Freeman, bow paddler (front) in green canoe and DAPM Larry Dattilo, both of WFO Louisville Kentucky passing two of many canoes en route to winning the six-mile Salt River Canoe race in Sheperdsville, KY. The race was held on July 4th 2005 and is the largest canoe race held in Kentucky. The NWS team topped the 2nd place finishers by over two minutes. This is the second major canoe race where Freeman and Dattilo have taken the winning trophy since teaming up last year.
