The Lake Wind Advisory has been extended through 6 pm this afternoon. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph are expected today. There will be isolated snow showers with unseasonably cold temperatures.
As low pressure departs the region, expect diminishing winds and clearing skies tonight. This will lead to widespread low temperatures near or below 20 degrees by Saturday morning. Now is a great time to take action to protect any sensitive outdoor vegetation or early gardening. Consider bringing pets inside for added protection.
