TO   Notification to GIFS Users

FROM  RTH WASHINGTON DATA MANAGEMENT

SUBJECT:  ADVISORY MESSAGE FOR THE ISCS GTS FILE SERVICE /GIFS/ USERS

The ISCS GTS File Service /GIFS/ will be transitioned to secondary data servers   due to
maintenance of the primary data servers  on Tuesday 23 October 2012 beginning at
7:00 AM /EDT/. GIFS will be transitioned from the secondary data servers back to the
primary data servers on Thursday 25 October 2012 at 7:00 AM /EDT/. The transition
should be transparent to end users  however we invite your participation in notifying
the ISCS Program Office (at patrick.gillis/at/noaa.gov) of any service anomalies or
discrepancies identified during the transition of the GIFS service.

Notificación a los Usuarios GIFS:

El Servicio de Archivo ISCS GTS /SIMP/ se hará la transición a servidores de datos
secundarios  debido al mantenimiento de los servidores de datos primarios, el martes
23 de octubre 2012 comenzando a las 7:00 AM /EDT/. GIFS se hará la transición desde
los servidores de datos secundarias a los servidores de datos principales el jueves
25 de octubre de 2012 a las 7:00 am /EDT/. La transición debe ser transparente para
los usuarios finales  sin embargo invitamos a su participación en la notificación de la
Oficina del Programa ISCS /a patrick.gillis /at/ noaa.gov/ de cualquier anomalía de
servicio o discrepancias identificadas durante la transición del servicio GIFS.
