SUBJECT: Notice to All GEONETCast-Americas (GNC-A) Satellite
Broadcast
Service Users

On Thursday, 1 December 2016 at 10:00 EST (15:00 UTC), RTH-Washington
will exercise a transition of operations from its data center in
College Park, Maryland, to the backup center in Boulder, Colorado.

This exercise of RTH-Washington backup services should be transparent
to all GNC-A NWS sub-channel data recipients. Should any interruptions
or outages of the NWS sub-channels be identified, please notify the
RTH-Washington Help Desk: +1-301-713-0902 or eMail:
TOC.NWSTG@noaa.gov

The transition will be rescheduled in the event an NWS Critical
Weather Day is declared (http://www.nco.ncep.noaa.gov/pmb/cwd/).
