Check-in for attendees at the NWS Conference Center will begin at 8:00 AM on December 11, 2006 with the opening of the workshop set for 9:00 AM. The NWS will provide attendees with background on the changes coming with the new generation of GOES satellites, the impact on the EMWIN system, essential specifications for receiving systems and a demonstration of a prototype system.
