An area of high pressure along the Pennsylvania, Maryland border will slide east, and become located off the Mid-Atlantic Coast tonight. This weather feature will provide a sunny warm day across the entire region. A strong cold front from the plains will bring increasing clouds tonight with a few showers and thunderstorms moving into the western part of Pennsylvania after midnight. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will affect the entire state on Tuesday. Dry, but cooler weather will follow the cold front for Tuesday night through Thursday, before clouds and the chance for showers increases later Thursday night and Friday.
