Flood Outlook Survey

We seek your feedback to help us design a new product we hope will assist you in planning for flooding.

Provide as much information as you desire.  There are no required responses.

Please follow along as we ask questions to try to help us understand how useful the information might be and how well proposed formats will meet your needs. The examples are not "real" -- they were created just to demonstrate a concept.

To have your responses recorded, you MUST click on the "Transmit Response" button at the end of the survey.  (When you click the "Transmit Response" button, it will cause your computer to send an e-mail message with the information you provide.)

Thank you for your help.

The two maps shown below provide examples of how the National Weather Service could identify areas where river flooding is possible in the next five days.  We would expect to update the information once a day.  The first map contains considerably less detail than the second map.  Both depict the same flood potential -- the only difference is the level of detail provided on each map.
