The latest version of the program is on: www.nws.noaa.gov/mdl/NDFD_GRIB2Decoder/ (or www.nws.noaa.gov/mdl/degrib/). ----------- General News. As of sometime today, the TOC (I'm not sure what that stands for) started putting out the 2 new experimental elements into their correct directories. I had guessed that they would name them "ds.apparentt.bin" and "ds.rh.bin". Unfortunately they chose "ds.apt.bin" and "ds.rhm.bin". This means that you can either download 1.72, or modify "/degrib/bin/ndfd.ini". If you choose to modify "ndfd.ini", then you need to find: "apparentt=Apparent Temperature,expr,ApparentT,expr,expr,expr,NA" and "rh=Relative Humidity,expr,RH,expr,expr,expr,NA" and change them to: "apt=Apparent Temperature,expr,ApparentT,expr,expr,expr,NA" and "rhm=Relative Humidity,expr,RH,expr,expr,expr,NA" ----------- News about this release: I have just finished putting together version "1.72" (last one that I announced was "1.70" on 6/15/2005). This release is only focused on handling "ds.rhm.bin" and "ds.apt.bin". 1) Reconfigured ndfd.ini to handle ds.rhm.bin and ds.apt.bin 2) Updated htmlmaker.exe to create a column for Apparent Temperature (it already knew about RH).
