Research and innovation are the lifeblood of
NWS operations. To ensure this essential elixir continues to flow,
the Research and Innovation Transition Team (RITT) hosts a forum
each month to showcase potential transition projects. During the
forum, a subject matter expert gives a talk on a project which is
followed by a lively discussion on the project's implications for
NWS operations. Participants can attend forums remotely using GoToWebinar
or in person in Building 2 of the Silver Spring Metro Complex.

The success of the RITT Forum in supporting the research to operations transition process was assessed
