Small Basin Shapefiles
For each of your dedicated radars, you need to have a shapefile set.
This shapefile set can be obtained on a CD from NWSHQ. Contact
Michael.Mercer@noaa.gov for information.
Forced FFG
"In this version of FFMP, you can force FFM to use the FFG values
you want it to. This is done via a command-line driven, text application.
Instructions on how to use it are in the User's
Guide.
Customizing Basin Shapefiles
Using Arc software, you can change the contents of your small basin
shapefile set. For example, you may want to aggregate certain basins
or redifine urban ares, etc. An entire training course is devoted
to this subject. For more information, either contact Michael.Mercer@noaa.gov
or visit the training page.
