	FFMP News FFMP 2.0 Launch On the Horizon FFMP 2.0 is a vast improvement over FFMP 1.0. Version 2.0 performs better, takes less hard disk space, and analyzes data with a finer resolution. Basins as small as 2 square miles and the Digital Hybrid Reflectivity radar product with its 1 degree by 1 km resolution are used to monitor basin averaged precipitation accumulations. Enhanced Testing The developmental and Beta testing for FFMP 2.0 has been much more vigorous, primarily due to the ability to run FFMP in Displaced Real Time (DRT) mode. Also, thanks go out to Pittsburgh and Bob Davis for running FFMP through its hoops. Real-Time Forecast Products Now Available Experimental precipitation and lightning forecasts are now available on the web. (0-3 Hour Forcast Page)
