Instructions for updating:     rev. 09/25/09

   UGClookup.table
   UGClookup_changes.txt

The updated UGClookup_changes.txt and UGClookup.table files belong respectively in

   /awips/adapt/NWRWAVES
   /awips/adapt/NWRWAVES/bin

No localization step is required but a minimal usage of NWRWAVES is
recommended during the copying.

1.  Log into any (dx1 or dx2) server or workstation as the fxa user

2.  Save the current version and download the updated version
    from NOAA1 pub/ndm.

    cd /awips/adapt/NWRWAVES
    cp -p UGClookup_changes.txt UGClookup_changes.txt{date}
    cd bin
    cp -p UGClookup.table  UGClookup.table{date}


    sftp ftpawips .....    (NOAA1)
    (Enter password)
    sftp> cd pub/ndm/
    sftp> get UGClookup.table
    sftp> lcd ..
    sftp> get UGClookup_changes.txt
    sftp> bye

Once the UGClookup.table is updated, the NWRWAVES script will
automatically pull in the information from the new UGC file. 

   *   Helpful tip from Evan Bookbinder:

The sites below (and surrounding sites with NWR transmitters
covering those WFOs CWAs) should obtain the new lookup table.
After doing so, make sure that your NWRWAVES focal point goes
through each transmitter's county/FIPS *and* zone configuration
in the NWRWAVES setup GUI to remove any defunct UGC areas and
add in their replacements.
Please make sure that your CRS database has also been updated
to handle any changes to FIPS or zone UGC codes and their
English descriptors..
