Instructions for updating afosMasterPIL.txt - rev. 11/09/05

The updated afosMasterPIL.txt dataset belongs in
/data/fxa/nationalData. Localization then creates the
afosMasterPIL.CCC from it and adds this site-specific
version to /awips/fxa/data/localizationDataSets/LLL.

1.  Log into any server or workstation as the fxa user

2.  Save the current version and download the updated version

    cd /data/fxa/nationalData
    cp -p afosMasterPIL.txt afosMasterPIL.txt{date}

    sftp ftpawips .....    (NOAA1)
    (Enter password)
    sftp> cd pub/ndm
    sftp> get afosMasterPIL.txt
    sftp> bye

3.  Log into each workstation (LX and XT) as the fxa user,
    and run a text localization.

    cd /awips/fxa/data/localization/scripts
    ./mainScript.csh -text

4.  Logout and login to each workstation to activate the changes.
