Product Format

The code forms/formats used for NOAAPORT products conform to WMO standards. For most products, the T1T2 portion of the header will identify the code form/format used. The code form definitions can be found in WMO Manual 306, Manual on Codes.

NOAAPORT transmits some formats that do not conform to WMO code forms. They are defined in Federal Meteorological Handbook No. 1 (FCM-H1-1995), Chapter 12.
