These data points are HADS processed - USGS DCP locations. Each National Weather Service Location Identifier (NWSLIs) is matched to its U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) station number.
The 8 character identifiers of GOES DCP sites processed by HADS and their associated NWSLIs are made available to the USGS. In return, the USGS provides, based upon the GOES identifier, the meta-data associated with each of the USGS currently deployed Data Collection Platforms.
