1. Issue: Project Planning
Activities: 1) I'm making final edits to the project
plan we discussed at our meeting on 5/21/2003. 2) I've submitted
a request to the ITSG for creating a "Current Projects" link off
the OHD web site. As soon as they create the page, I'll give
them the project plan, project schedule, and a copy of the weekly
emails for posting.
Actions required by OHD/HL management: may need to
follow up with ITSG
2. Issue: Project Execution
Activities: We are in the process of gathering requirements
for all phases of DMS 1.0. 1) We met with APEX this week and
we have started creating a list of potential enhancements to the
Fortran code and documenting the current state of the HL-RMS prototype
(1.2.1 in the project schedule). 2) We spoke with Billy Olsen
on requirements for the user interfaces and DMS 1.0 tool (1.2.2.
and 1.2.3). ABRFC sent us their thoughts and is waiting for
our feedback. We should be in touch with them early next week

4. Issue: Upcoming Work
Activities: 1) APEX will finish documenting the current
state of the HL-RMS prototype and identifying some possible enhancements
for improving the existing Fortran Code. 2) We will work with
APEX to provide more detail to the list of requirements ABRFC has
identified for DMS 1.0, and documenting DMS 1.0 data and process
flows.
Actions required by OHD/HL management: attend a meeting
scheduled for 6/17/2003 to go over the requirements for DMS
1.0
4. Issue: Tracking Hours
Activities: In order to verify the time estimates
in the project schedule, we have set up a way to track the number
of hours spent on the project.
I need ABRFC, Apex, and each person in OHD to let me know the number
of hours worked for the previous week(s).
