Issue: Project Planning
Activities: ITSG set up a link for the project
off the OHD/HL website (http://www.nws.noaa.gov/oh/hrl/). Under
"Current Projects" select "View List" then "Distributed
Modeling Project". The web page is a condensed version of the
project plan. The page also has the weekly status emails, and links
to a pdf of the project schedule, and a full-version of the project
plan.
Actions required by OHD/HL management: Review the website and let
me know of any needed changes
2. Issue:
Project Execution
Activities: We are finalizing requirements for
all phases of DMS 1.0. APEX drafted a document describing the requirements
for all phases of DMS 1.0 (data management (updates to HL-RMS code),
user interfaces, and changes to xnav). It is being reviewed by the
team.
Actions required by OHD/HL management: Attend a meeting on Friday
June 13 at 10 am room 8246 to go over the requirements for DMS 1.0
3. Issue:
Upcoming Work
Activities: 1) APEX will help finalize the requirements
information for DMS 1.0 to put it in a format for presentation to
OHD/HL management.
Actions required by OHD/HL management: none
4. Issue: Tracking Hours
Activities: In order to verify the time estimates
in the project schedule, we have set up a way to track the number
of hours spent on the
project. I need ABRFC, Apex, and each person in OHD to let me know
the number of hours worked for the previous week(s).
