NATIONAL HAS CONFERENCE TO BE HELD IN SILVER SPRING THIS SEPTEMBER!

We have just been informed that there is enough money in the OH budget to hold a National HAS conference, if it is done before the end of the fiscal year! An official invitation and travel information will be going out to the Sr. HAS forecasters from each RFC to attend this conference which will be held in Silver Spring during the week of September 15th - 19th. We would like pattern this conference much like the HIC and DOH conferences that are held annually in Silver Spring. Most of you have been wanting to have a National HAS conference with all of the RFC's represented for quite some time, so I'm sure that you will have quite a few topics that you would like to discuss with the Hydromet Analysis Group (HAG) as well as HL and OH management. Please coordinate a list of topics with your SR. HAS forecaster that your RFC would like to have discussed at this conference and CC-mail them to Jay Breidenbach at jay.breidenbach@noaa.gov. as soon as possible.
