5. Double Mass Analysis Plot Screen

The Double Mass Analysis Plot screen displays a set of double mass curves, the station legend, information about what type of data is plotted, a screen legend, a tool bar and radio buttons for selecting whether to view or hide station plots. It also contains a section for selecting whether to Compute suggested break points and for providing the appropriate input for this computation. The user can view information about points and stations, input from the preprocessor, estimated raw and/or estimated corrected data, display seasonal data; add, delete and move break points, change the correction factor for a selected period, draw a reference line, turn legend on/off and edit the time series for the current set of stations.

The tool bar gives the user the ability to do the following:
     Display previous set
     Display next set
     Display winter data
     Display summer data
     Display maximum temperature data
     Display minimum temperature data
     Add break point
     Delete break point
     Move break point
     Calculate correction factor
     Edit time series data
     Save corrections to Input file

Stations are grouped and displayed in sets of up to five with the station sets being specified in the preprocessor input file. The user can work with and display only one set at a time, but can move back and forth between sets by selecting the Previous Set or Next Set option in the File menu. The total number of sets and the current set displayed is indicated on the screen.

The esitmated data flag in IDMA is displayed if any value in the month has been estimated. The flag does not mean that the whole month is estimated, just that there is at least one value in the month that is estimated.
