3. Running the Preprocessor

IDMA is designed to run in conjunction with the PXPP, MAP, MAT and MAPE preprocessors. There are no changes to the way the preprocessor is setup or run, except that the preprocessor can be started from within IDMA.  Note that the preprocessors and IDMA share certain parameters in the .Apps_defaults file. The preprocessor is started from within IDMA by pressing the button for the appropriate preprocessor on the start-up screen. An input dialog will be displayed requiring entry of the name of the input card file (filename, not pathname) and the for the output files. When the preprocessor has run, a preprocessor completion message will be displayed. Preprocessor output messages will be displayed in the window from which IDMA was started.
