22. User's Preferences

User preferences allows each user to have their own individual set of preferences for the Interactive Double Mass Analysis tool. The preferences the user can set are the color of any of the items plotted on the double mass analysis screen, specifically: To change the color of any item, press the User Preference button on the startup screen. The User Preference screen will be displayed. You may type in the name for the color you want or press the color button next to the field you wish to change. A color selection dialog will be displayed. Scroll through the list of colors and select the color you want. The color name and a sample will be display below the list of colors. Once you have decided on a color, press the OK button and the color will be inserted in the field. If you press the Cancel button then the color will not change.

Once all the changes have been made, press the OK button and the preferences will be saved in the .dma_resource file and the new colors will be applied immediately without the need to re-start the IDMA tool. The .dma_resource file is located in user's home directory. This file will be read in every time the user runs the IDMA tool.
