This web site contains some of the presentations that were made during the Annual NWS Hydrology Science Conference, August 8-11, 2000. The purpose of this conference was to identify science issues that are important to the NWS hydrology program and to foster coordination among the River Forecast Centers. The conference agenda is available for download. The conference was attended by senior field personnel from the River Forecast Centers, Regional Hydrologists from the regional officies, representatives of the Office of Hydrology, NCEP and other headquarters offices, and from the University of Arizona. The conference produced a list of action items that is also available for download. Priority science topics were identified and will be included in a science strategy document being prepared by the Hydrology Laboratory.
