APPENDIX F.  SHIMS FILES


Given below is a list of all files in SHIMS.  There may also be compiled scripts such as
SHIMS*.SC2.  These can be ignored.  The student of Paradox can look at the script files to
see how SHIMS operates.  Do not edit any script files except SHIMSINI.SC.  It is important
the all SHIMS scripts and database structures remain unchanged. It is possible to have other
tables and scripts in the SHIMS directory but these will not be supported nor updated.

  SHIMS.SC     The driving script of SHIMS. This is the only script one usually runs.
  SHIMSINI.SC  The user editable global variables.
  SHIMSPRC.SC  The editing, backup, and miscellaneous procedures. Running this procedure creates a
               new SHIMS.LIB which is needed anytime the script files are moved or changed.
  SHIMSRPT.SC  The report generating procedures excluding the E19.
  SHIMSE19.SC  The E19 report generating procedures.
  SHIMSUTL.SC  The SHIMS utilities.
  SHIMS.LIB    The SHIMS procedures compiled into a autoload library. This library is created
               whenever SHIMSPRC.SC is run.
