7.3.2  FORECAST POINT FORM (Page 2)

Page 2 of the Forecast Point Form contains four sections: the Hydrologic Conditions Section,
the Benchmark Section, the Datum Section, and the Publication and Records Section.
Hydrologic Conditions Section: 


                          Forecast Point Form - Page 2 

    Ice:           The description of the problems, if any, that ice causes.
    Reach:         The description of the reach of this gage.
    Topography:    The description of the type of topography around the location.

Benchmark Section: (this section scrolls)
    Number:        Type and number of the benchmark, reference mark, or reference point.
    Elevation:     The elevation in feet of the benchmark, usually above mean sea level.
    Description:   The description of the appearance and location of the bench-mark.

Datum Section: (this section scrolls)
    Datum:         The zero gage datum of the river gage site for a particular period.
    Date:          The first date the datum was valid.  Notice, two different values cannot
                   be valid during the same period.

Publications & Records Section: (this section scrolls)
    Location:      The name of the publication where the records appear or the location
                   where the records are stored.
    Begin:         The date records began in the publication or location.
    End:           The date records ended in the publication or location, if applicable..
