7.4  RESERVOIR FORM

The Reservoir Form contains information on the dam and reservoir for a location, if one
exists.  It contains two sections: the Reservoir Section, and the Capacity Curve Section.


                               Reservoir Form 

Reservoir Section:
    Location:       The location ID.
    Name:           The name of the reservoir.
    Type:           What type of construction is the dam.
    Uses:           What the reservoir is used for.  The choices are: F - flood
                    control, H - hydroelectric, L - low flow augmentation, N -
                    navigation, R - recreation, and W - water supply.
    Owner:          What agency owns the dam.
    Impound Date:   The date the reservoir was first filled.
    Gates:          The number of gate(s) on the dam.
    Max Surcharge:  The maximum surcharge volume.
    Top Elev:       The elevation of the top of the dam.
    Sill Elev:      The elevation of the sill of the dam.
    Reservoir Elev: The elevation of the base of the dam.
    Flood Pool:     The top level of the flood pool in feet.
    Spillway:       The level of the bottom of the spillway.
    Conservation:   The level of the conservation pool.
    Dead Pool:      The top level at which the reservoir cannot release any water.

Capacity Section: (this section scrolls)
    Elev:           The elevation of the water.
    Storage:        The storage of water at that elevation in hundreds of acre-feet.
