7.2.2  RIVER GAGE FORM (Page 2)

Page 2 of the River Gage Form contains two sections: the Crest History Section, and the
Remarks Section.


                                River Gage Form - Page 2 

Crest History Section:  (this section scrolls)
    Stage:         The stage reading of the crest in feet.
    Date:          The date the crest occurred. If the exact day of the month or the month
                   is unknown, use a value of 1, and make a note in the Rem field.
    Time:          The time the crest occurred.
    Flow:          The peak flow in cubic feet per second.
    Survey:        Place an X if the crest was determined by surveying high water marks. 
                   Otherwise, leave blank.
    Old Datum:     Place an X if the crest was based on a zero datum which is no longer
                   valid.  Otherwise, leave blank.
    Ice Jam:       Place an X if the crest was caused by  ice jam.  Otherwise, leave blank.
    Preliminary:   Place an X if the crest is deemed preliminary.  Otherwise, leave blank.
    Suppress:      Place an X if the crest is not to appear on the E-19 staff picture page. 
                   Otherwise, leave blank.
    Rem:           Any specific comments about this crest.

Remarks Section:
    Remarks:       Any general comments about the river gage site.  This will appear in the
                   REMARKS section of an E-19A.
