Question 1: What is the climate services Partnership Program?

Answer: The Climate Services Division Partnership Program is a 2-week program targeted toward individuals interested in developing a partnership for climate services customer education and outreach between a NWS office and either a NOAA lab, Regional Climate Center, State Climatologist, university, or private company . The applicant can be either a NWS employee or an employee of a potential partner organization. The key qualifications are interest and opportunity for a NWS/external partnership for local climate services. The Program’s goal is to acquaint potential architects of local partnerships for climate services with the NWS Headquarters team (CSD) that supports there partnerships and the source of climate prediction products (NWS Climate Prediction Center)
