PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY:

 

Dr. Reeves’ extensive experience spans a broad spectrum as researcher, program manager, and senior staff scientist.  He has collaborated with the academic, interagency, and international communities on several of the large international atmospheric and oceanic experiments of the World Climate Research Program, including data collection and validation, and scientific interpretation.  He has led numerous efforts to effect policy changes within NOAA and its partner agencies.  In the NOAA Headquarters Office of the Chief Scientist he was staff specialist on issues related to the integrity of NOAA data and climate.   He spearheaded a recent effort to heighten NWS awareness of the importance of Geographic Information System (GIS) technology.

PERSONAL:
