Marina Timofeyeva
Marina Timofeyeva is a physical scientist in the NOAA/NWS/Climate Services Division (CSD). She has led the development of NWS local climate products and tools including LCAT. She is also the executive producer of the NWS climate training program in the CSD. Marina's area of scientific expertise includes statistical climate analysis, local climate modeling (using downscaling techniques), impacts of climate variability and change, extensions of NWS forecasts to local applications, and interpretation of climate information. Marina holds a Ph.D. in Applied Geology (Climate Change Modeling), Ph.D. in Hydrology (Low River Flow), and MS in Hydraulic Engineering.
