Dr. Katharine Hayhoe is an atmospheric scientist who studies climate change. In this role, she works as a professor, consultant, and author. She is an active contributor to key reports on climate science, and is widely known for her leadership in sharing climate information with Christian communities.

To ensure NWS has the capacity to develop and deliver reliable climate services integrated with weather and water information through user engagement, policy development, data stewardship, incorporation of research into operations, training, education, and outreach in collaboration with partners.
