In Collaboration With NOAA Climate Connection Team
Dr. Levy studied chemistry at the City College of New York and received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from MIT. He has applied his knowledge to a range of environmental work, mostly in federal agencies such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Global Change Research Program, and NOAA. In his work as a scientist and program manager, he has addressed subjects such as atmospheric chemistry, the effects of aerosols on climate, and ocean observations. He currently serves as a program manager in NOAA's Climate Observations Division, where he contributes to NOAA's efforts to deploy and maintain an open ocean-observing system for climate.
