Regional Headquarters - Hydrologic Services Division:

Regional HSD's primary functions are to:

t Manage the hydrologic forecast and warning programs and services

t Ensure quality of hydrologic services

t Provide assistance and support to field offices

t Conduct hydrologic program reviews, storm surveys and assessments, and technical reviews

t Develop policy and requirements to address unique requirements of hydrologic services in respective region

t Oversight for WFO/RFC interactions

t Training activities to support hydrology

t Ongoing modernization support

t Coordinate data requirements and resolve data problems

t National Headquarters liaison

t External coordination
