w Responsible for hydrologic science and national-level NWS hydrologic application software
w Designs, implements, tests, documents, and controls RFC and WFO hydrologic applications
w Applies the science of hydrology, hydrometeorology, and hydraulics to RFC and WFO applications
w Provides access to historical and real-time hydrometeorological data for use in model calibration and development of hydrometeorological techniques
w Prepares and publishes U.S. design standards and estimates on behalf of the Federal government for probable maximum precipitation and precipitation frequencies
