SUBJECT:  Corrected: Transfer of Hydrologic Services for the

Bear River in Idaho Effective January 12, 2011

Corrected to Change the heading in Table 1 from County Identifier to Location Identifier

Effective Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at 0800 AM Mountain Standard Time (MST), 1500 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), hydrologic service responsibility for river forecast locations along the Bear River in Bear Lake and Franklin Counties, ID, will be transferred to WFO Pocatello (WFO PIH) from WFO Salt Lake City (WFO SLC).  These changes will align Hydrologic Service Areas and County Warning Areas to enable more efficient service. See Table 1 for details on the river forecast points to be transferred to WFO Pocatello from WFO Salt Lake City on January 12, 2011.

Because of this transfer, customers must take appropriate action to receive the products listed in Table 2 for Bear River forecast points in Bear Lake and Franklin Counties in Idaho using the PIH identifier.

Updated hydrologic service area shapefiles are online at:
