Effective Tuesday February 1, 2011, 1600 Coordinated Universal
Time (UTC) or 1100 am Eastern Standard Time, NWS Weather Forecast
Office in Cleveland will no longer issue the GLS and MAW.
NWS received no comments on this proposed change during its
comment period that began July 26, 2010, and ended September
10, 2010. The Marine Weather Message (MWW) has superseded the
requirement for the GLS and MAW.  The MWW, MAW and GLS are all
event driven, non-scheduled, products.
