Spanish from Experimental to Operational Effective

Effective Tuesday, March 1, 2011, the National
Centers for Environmental Prediction’s (NCEP) Hydrometeorological Prediction
Center (HPC) will begin issuing operationally a Spanish language version of its
Today’s Weather Chart. This chart
summarizes the weather across the United States and highlights significant
events such as severe weather, heavy rain or winter weather. The chart also shows frontal locations and
areas of precipitation. The chart is
