SUBJECT:  Extending the Terminal Aerodrome Forecast (TAF)

          validity period at 11 Airport from 24 hours to

          30 hours effective December 4, 2017



Effective December 4, 2017, 1800 GMT, the following 11 airports

will extend their TAFs from 24 hours to 30 hours:


Charlotte Douglas Intl (KCLT)

Washington National (KDCA)

New York LaGuardia (KLGA

Teterboro (KTEB)

Fort Lauderdale (KFLL)

Orlando Intl (KMCO)

Memphis Intl (KMEM)

Miami Intl (KMIA)

New Orleans Intl (KMSY)

Tampa Bay Intl(KTPA)

Chicago Midway (KMDW)


The extension in the TAF validity period has been coordinated

with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and responsible

NWS Offices.
