SUBJECT: Implementation of Terminal Aerodrome
Forecast (TAF) Service for Lancaster Airport
Effective March 23, 2011.
Effective
Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at 0000 Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), the NWS
office at State College, PA, will begin TAF service for Lancaster Airport (KLNS)
in Pennsylvania. After that date, routine and updated TAFS will be issued for
this airport 24 hours a day.
NWS
personnel/offices will need to add the following identifier to their
communications systems to receive the new TAF.

addition, this new TAF will be added to the existing TAF collectives below,
which are transmitted to FAA personnel and other external users.
