           Version 1: Effective September 25, 2012

Refer to:  NWS Technical Information Notice 10-55, CFS Changes,

final version issued April 18, 2011

Effective Tuesday, September 25, 2012, the National Centers for

On March 30, 2011, NCEP implemented CFS Version 2. NCEP

2011 to allow users to transition to Version 2. That overlap

period was then extended to June 2012. NCEP is now discontinuing

Version 1. The output from the Version 1 is currently available
