The rules for the Coriolis Force (supposing the surface of the Earth is fixed) are

  • The Coriolis Force turns the winds (or anything moving, for that matter) to their right in the Northern Hemisphere (left in the Southern Hemisphere.)
  • The Coriolis Force is proportional to the wind speed relative to the surface of the Earth.
  • The magnitude of the Coriolis Force is proportional to the Sine of the angle of Latitude.

That's all I wanted to know. To the summary.
