Regression Testing
Regression Testing is re-doing a test procedure with known input parameters and compairing the results against a baseline
established previously. This testing is used to ensure existing capabilities still function and have not been corrupted by new
software changes as well as to confirm the item under test meets specified requirements. Once testing is complete and the item
under test performs according to specifications, the test results become the new baseline against which new software is evaluated.
