award recognizing his 20 plus years of unbroken service. The Award was presented

Jim Bradshaw,
right, of Shawnee, OK, received a 20 Year Length of Service Award.
Jim is retiring but his daughter, Nancy Antosh, has agreed to carry on the
family tradition and be the new Shawnee observer.

NWS Indianapolis
honored Shelley Edwards of Spencer with a 20 Year Service
Award. Shelley’s station in
Spencer is a critical river site. He records and
reports daily precipitation and river readings. Shelley’s father Thomas

Tom Francis, center, Grounds Supervisor of Mother Cabrini Shrine, Golden, CO,
was presented a 20 Year Length of Service Award. Tom’s father, Carl Francis,
was the previous observer from 1983 through 1988 when Tom took over
