You are encouraged to review the information and materials provided by the IPAWS Developers section of the FEMA IPAWS website.

In order to access the IPAWS OPEN test environment, a Memorandum of Agreement must be executed with FEMA. Please see the instructions provided on the FEMA IPAWS website. Once fully executed by both parties FEMA will send you:

• Copy of the fully executed MOA
• IPAWS-OPEN v3.01 Web-Service Interface Design Guidance
• Digital Certificate
• Accessible Web Service End Point

After reviewing the documentation, you will be asked to identify the specific functions of IPAWS you wish to use, for inclusion in the IPAWS-OPEN-maintained test results database. As you test, you will work with the IPAWS test coordinator to ensure that successful results are reported and problems are resolved as needed.
