National Hurricane Preparedness Week highlights the importance of planning ahead to protect families and to secure our homes and properties in advance of the upcoming hurricane season. The effects of these storms can be devastating to entire communities and have long lasting impacts. In addition to the threat posed to coastal areas, hurricanes also impact inland locations.
