The new percentile forecasts complement the existing probability of exceedance forecasts and are derived from the same probability distribution function. The percentile forecasts are available for snow and ice accumulations at the 5th, 10th, 25th, 50th, 75th, 90th, and 95th percentile levels over the CONUS.
