SUBJECT:  Corrected: Soliciting Comments on Experimental Spanish

Tsunami Messages for Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands,

U.S. East Coast and Gulf of Mexico through

          December 31, 2013

Corrected three product headers in Table 1 below

NWS is seeking comments on experimental Spanish tsunami messages

for Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, U.S. East Coast, and the Gulf

of Mexico through December 31, 2013. The West Coast/Alaska

Tsunami Warning Center (WCATWC) is testing new products in

Spanish for this region to help ensure that customers in areas

where the native language is Spanish understand vital messages.

The new products will mimic the bulleted English products

provided for that region. The format and content will be as

identical as possible to the English messages. NWS will issue

the Spanish products on the same channels as the English

products, such as NOAA Weather Wire, EMWIN, etc.
