Message (MWW)
Products to Operational Effective June
1, 2011
Effective Wednesday, June 1,
2011, at 1800 Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) NWS Weather Forecast Offices
with marine responsibility across the Continental United States and outside the
continental United States will issue its Coastal/Lakeshore Hazard Message (CFW)
and Marine Weather Message (MWW) using a bulleted format.
The bulleted format is
similar to the current format for severe thunderstorm and flash flood warnings.
It will allow users to quickly read and gather vital information during
hazardous weather events.
